Subject: Cuba, Tropical Gulag

The Cuba Chic government owes U.S.A. nationals and corporations more than 1.7 billions in illegal confiscated properties, the largest in the whole history of this country, and worse the regime has executed 21 American citizens who uphold  principles of  freedom and justice Regime that has instituted and perfected repression for 42 years while the world elevates Castro over the suffering of his own people.

This piece of propaganda Cuba Chic, Time, 8.7.01,  legitimize Castro as as revolutionary leader instead of a bloody and cruel dictator, why failing to comment why for 42 years the Cuban people has been denied basic rights or even mentioned Castro'record of subversion and the way the Cuban regime violates the human rights of their people. To promote tourism in Cuba's  Tropical Gulag is to:

o    Insult the memory of more than 100,000 killed or

                  drowned seeking freedom, thousands imprisoned,

                  tortured, robbed, humiliated and exiled.

o   Sponsor Castro's tourist industry that exploits

workers paying in pesos while the regime cash in

dollars their salaries, against labor rights and

                  a shameful socio-medical-economic apartheid .

o    Boost an illegal head of state and regime

by trampling the principles of free enterprise, justice

under the law and respect for private property.

o    Overlooks threats of national security and                                                hemisphere stability 90 miles from our shores

                   among other offenses committed

                    to other neighbor countries.

o   Ommit that Castro was years ago in the list of Forbes

magazine richest head of states, while his people

breath because of the 90 million dollars remmitances

from the exile community to their  relatives in Cuba.

The Cuban people needs a message of hope and solidarity from the American tourists, not their dollars, and  they need their  support for the indictment of Fidel Castro, head of a terrorist nation according to the State Department, for the downing  by two Cuban Mig fighters, of two civilian airplanes over international waters with 3 American citizens aboard .  Milosevic,

Sadam Hussein and Pinochet are not the only living criminals.

Given our terrible and painful history of 42 years of tyrany and knowing the principles on which the U.S.A. was established I protest for the publication of this article on today's Cuba and its context. Fair journalism is vital for your readers and for the debate of this article.

Cuba under Castro has spread blood, tears and  suffering over three continents. In the name of JUSTICE AND TRUTH,
support CUBA'S freedom, do not prolongue its agony  with this kind of propaganda. Cuba needs, deserve and must be free.
¡VIVA CUBA LIBRE!
