MIAMI INTERNATIONAL 
BOOK FAIR

Among other programmed events with Spanish speaking authors, the book by Agustin Blazquez and Carlos Wotzkow COVERING AND DISCOVERING/CUBRIENDO Y DESCUBRIENDO and Agustin Blazquez’s documentary COVERING CUBA 2: The New Generation are featured with the Spanish version of Yvonne Conde’s book OPERACION PEDRO PAN at the Fair that will take place November 11 – 18, 2001.

The presentations are in Spanish and the majority of them will take place at the Wolfson Campus of the Miami Dade Community College, 300 N.E. Second Avenue, in the center of Miami City.

This year the program of Spanish speaking authors presents a series of talks, lectures and panels that celebrates the richness of the Cuban literature in the Diaspora.

Writer and director of documentaries Agustin Blazquez has written with Carlos Wotzkow the book COVERING AND DISCOVERING/CUBRIENDO Y DESCUBRIENDO that will be presented at the Fair in tandem with his documentary COVERING CUBA 2: The New Generation. Writer Yvonne Conde returns to the Fair with the Spanish version of her acclaimed book OPERATION PEDRO PAN/OPERACION PEDRO PAN. Yvonne Conde and Agustin Blazquez will be present that evening.
